Welcome

Welcome to the new HK4WD website. Please browse the website to learn more about the club and its activities.

Thank you for visiting the website of the Hornsby Ku-Ring-Gai Four Wheel Drive Club.

The purpose of our Club is to encourage the responsible use of 4WD vehicles. The Club supports the Tread Lightly campaign, and is working with various bodies to try to regain access to public lands.

The Club has a strong commitment to responsible and safe four wheel driving. We conduct our own driver awareness program. Attendance is mandatory for all new members.

HK4WD imageClub trips are graded on the degree of difficulty that may be encountered during the trip so members can choose what type of trip they may enjoy.

Trip focus is always on safety and responsible four wheel driving. Each year several longer trips are planned to locations such as Cape York and the Simpson Desert.

It is necessary for all members to have basic recovery equipment prior to driver training, and going on a trip. A UHF radio is also required.

Club meetings are held on the second Tuesday of every month at 8pm in the Hornsby Heights Community Centre on Galston Road. Visitors are welcome. Please visit the Club Info page for more information, and details on how to join our Club.
